There’s A Job For That 

Did you know that Japan has a designated group of people who push others into crowded subway cars? You would understand if you ever experience rush hours in Japan. During this time, the subway cars are typically overcrowded. This means everyone tries to get on the train at once. 

All this makes it next to impossible for the car doors to close. The people who do this job – get called “oshiya” or “pushers.” They wear uniforms, equipped with white gloves, a hat, and face masks. Their job serves as an extra safety measure, too. Talk about doing the lord’s work!
