Ice-Cream That Doesn’t Melt
According to Japan, we are already living in the future; as food scientists, they have invented ice cream bars that do not melt. They did this while experimenting with the chemistry of strawberries, with the original goal consisting of helping farmers impacted by the 2011 tsunami.
So, what’s the connection? These scientists accidentally discovered a chemical that solidifies cream, and it does it almost instantly. This means that ice cream bars made with the man made compound – their ice cream will not melt. There are even some instances of people using a hair dryer to test out the concept. It does not melt.
