A World With No Trash Can
Most countries use trash cans even on the street. It helps to keep public spaces free of garbage and even the idea of pests. You will not find a public trash can in Japan, and what happens, as a result, leaves many indiscriminately throwing junk in piles.
Later, these piles get removed by public workers. If you want to do your best for the environment, the best approach is to take all trash home to dispose of it properly. If you wish to try to find a needle in a haystack, look no further. Japan is the real-life embodiment of that saying.
