History has a way of connecting the past to the present and even the future. Even today, almost everyone has a connection of some sort to historic events and figures. A lot of us don’t necessarily know what our grandparents, great-grandparents, and older ancestors were up to, but the people in this article know all too well. You never know who you might be related to until you dig into your ancestry… These people with family links to historical events or famous figures from the past decided to share these connections on social media.
#1: The King of Horror
For this one, we’re not going way, way back. This person cannot be classified as a piece of history since Stephen King, the person behind the books It, The Shining, Carrie, and many more, is still alive and kicking. However, if you look at his age and how much his work dates back, you can probably say he is a part of history.
All the same, living next door to a literary legend must have been pretty cool. Considering it’s Stephen King we’re talking about, it might’ve been a bit frightening, too. From his works, we can imagine he lived in a creepy, haunted-house-like mansion, but in reality, he was probably just your Average Joe from down the street.
