#26: The Yellow Tennis Ball
This is yet another invention still used to this day, and we can comfortably say that this was a great invention. The furry, yellow tennis ball was invented in 1972, and this person’s grandfather was the inventor. Every time this person sees a tennis ball, they can say, “My grandfather invented that.” How awesome is that?

We’re all familiar with the iconic yellow tennis ball. Let’s look at the date, though – the early seventies. For some reason, we thought the tennis ball would have been invented long before that. It seems like it was invented recently for such a rampant sport. We wonder if the tennis balls back then were the same color as the ones we know and love today.
