Don’t shake your tailfeathers

Dancing in public is rarely seen as acceptable wherever you are. But in Japan, they take it a step further. Most night clubs don’t have dance floors, so you and your partner can’t boogie down. In fact, these night clubs have signs that warn its patrons not to put their dancing shoes on. If you do, a bouncer will escort you and your parent out of the vicinity.

In 1984, a law passed that where night clubs should have at least 710 square feet for dancing. Since land is pretty limited in Japan, not many night clubs meet this requirement. So, if you do go to a night club, try and enjoy the night and drinks instead of grinding against strangers.
