Don’t blow your nose in public

Well, we don’t blame if you have to remove something from your nose, but when in Japan, don’t do it publicly. Instead, you’re supposed to take your snot-filled nose into a discreet area or into a bathroom and blow your nose there. If you’re in public, it’s better to just sniffle until you find a more private place.

Here’s a tip for those that want to travel to Japan: wear a mask. Masks prevent the spread of disease and bacteria by covering your face. You’ll also prevent showing off whatever gross things come dripping out of your nose while your mask is on. And don’t even think about using a handkerchief (gross).
