Even if the obits got some info wrong, you’d think an official document like a death certificate would be correct. But shockingly, Elizabeth Montgomery’s has a spelling error on her own name. On the certificate, her name is Elizabeth A. Montgomery. However, that “A” should really be a “V.”

With the middle name of Victoria, it’s hard to tell how the wrong letter made its way onto her death certificate. It appears to be a manual clerical error. I suppose it’s probably one document where spelling isn’t too important, since the interested subject won’t get too much use out of it anyways.
