Even though the two similar TV shows appeared to be pitted against each other by rival networks, the two main stars never had animosity towards one another. Barbara Eden who played Jeannie might remind viewers of Samantha, but it never became a tabloid scandal of rivalry between the two women.
While you might get confused between theme songs or episode plot lines, a little which witch is which never hurt anybody. With double the magical shenanigans to enjoy, viewers in the 60s got two wacky and zany comedies to laugh at and relax with. There’s nothing wrong with that!
