Freeze Wine and Broth
Whenever you are cooking meat, red wine and broth are common ingredients that help to make the dish more savory and delicious. Problem is, the amounts that a recipe calls for are often very minimal and it’s a shame to open a box of broth or a bottle of wine for such a small portion.
Next time you find yourself with extra broth or wine, pour the remaining liquid into your ice cube tray and freeze. That way the next time you are cooking, you can just pop them out and use in your recipe for perfectly portioned wine and broth. Your future self will thank you.
