Cracking an Egg
This egg hack seems too obvious to be so unknown, but, alas- here we are. How many times have you added an egg to a dish or recipe only to find yourself trying to catch and scoop out the tiniest fragments of egg? It’s such a pain!
Next time you need to crack an egg, try doing so on a flat surface. When you crack an egg on the side of a bowl, the mixer, or pan- you are actually pushing the eggshell into the egg, encouraging pieces to crack and fall into your mixture. On a flat surface the pieces will be less likely to do so and you should be left with a cleaner crack.
