Knife Hack
Let’s stick with the pesky garlic for a moment. Let’s say you have gotten it successfully peeled using the hack in the item before this one, and you are ready to chop. You chop it up into fine little pieces, and alongside that you have onion and bell pepper on your cutting board.
To help more smoothly scrape the items into another bowl or pan, wipe the blade of your knife with some olive oil. This will make sure everything you’ve so painstakingly chopped ends up in your meal. Just be super careful not to get oil on the handle- you definitely don’t want your knife to be slippery as you chop.
