How To Store Lettuce

Lettuce is one of those things that can get soggy and gross very quickly in the refrigerator. If you don’t use it pretty much within a few days after you purchase it, you’ve lost its crispiness and soon it’ll become soggy and inedible.

Instead of keeping your lettuce in the container or the bag that it came in, try wrapping it very tightly and securely with aluminum foil. You might need a few pieces to make sure you can cover an entire head of lettuce. Everytime you need a piece, be sure to wrap the foil back tightly. By doing this, you might be able to keep lettuce fresh and crisp for up to a month.
