How to Know if Your Pan is the Right Temperature
Have you ever been making eggs and you add them to a warm pan that wasn’t quite hot enough? Now you are left with super slow cooking eggs- and likely they’re going to stick to the pan and cause an annoying clean up as well.
Next time you need to gauge the heat of your frying pan, try to first flick a few drops of water onto it. If the drops of water sizzle and evaporate immediately, then you know your pan is ready to go. If they don’t, keep warming it and try again in another thirty seconds or so.
