Soften Butter ASAP
Don’t you just hate it when you’re busy making a recipe and you’ve been through so many steps only to get to “add softened butter”? You take the butter out of the fridge and of course, it’s rock hard. Instead of leaving it on the counter, or melting it on the stove, try a different butter hack.
Place the lid of your butter container (or a glass of some kind) in hot water. Then, place the container you’ve warmed up over the butter you intend to use. The heat from the glass you used will cause the butter to soften, without melting completely. Voila!
