Prevent Cakes From Going Stale
Very rarely is an entire cake ever eaten. In fact, isn’t it one of life’s little joys to tiptoe to the redifergator the night after an event and take some bites of that leftover cake? That cool, creamy frosting and the moist cake…ah, just thinking about it is making me hungry.
In order to keep that sliced cake fresh as when you baked it (or bought it), use bread from your pantry. Yes, that’s right, bread acts as a barrier and will go stale instead of your cake. You can keep the bread in place with toothpicks too, so your cake won’t be damaged. So quick, go sacrifice some bread for the sake of that yummy cake.
