Satchel Paige – 1948 Leaf #8 Rookie Card
Over his five-decade baseball career, Satchel Paige has made history as the oldest debutant in major league history, when he joined the Cleveland Indians in 1948 and made his debut at the age of 42. Before embarking on this MLB career, he was an esteemed pitcher in the Negro Baseball League.

Despite joining the Major League at a relatively old age, he still has success and was named a two-times All-Star. He was also inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1971. Nine years later, at the age of 76, he passed away. High-quality copies of this card are nearly impossible to achieve, but if you happen to have one lying around somewhere, it might be worth $400,000.
