Roger Clemens – 1984 Fleer Update
Known by his nickname “The Rocket,” Roger Clemens started his career in 1984 with the Boston Red Sox. Throughout his time in the MLB, he also played for the Toronto Blue Jays, New York Yankees, Houston Astros, and his final year back with the Yankees in 2007. He was a dominant pitcher that had multiple years with a win-loss ratio of over .800.

There were accusations of steroid use that clouded his persona and hurt his reputation. They even prevented him from entering the Hall of Fame. While the steroid accusations diminished his ability to enter the Hall of Fame, it didn’t diminish the value of this 1984 Fleer Update. One can expect to get between $200 and $400 for one of these cards.
