You Said a Plane Tie, Right?
Isn’t it weird that the English language is filled with homophones? Did we run out of consonants and vowels to string together to create an entirely different word that sounds unlike anything else? Take a look at this picture and see how the English language has failed us yet again.

In order to make a good first impression with his girlfriend’s parents, he asked what kind of clothes he should wear. She told him to avoid flashy clothing and to wear a plain tie. He did that alright, but he misinterpreted “plain.” We’re just surprised that a company makes ties with planes on them!
