Dear Mom
Sending your child to summer camp can be an emotional time for parents and children. It’s the first time that kids get to leave home for months at a time and for parents to catch a glimpse of a child-free household after several years. But this letter, which appears to be written on a piece of cardboard, is a sign that maybe Josh is having the time of his life away from home.
In summer camp, the counselors expect the kids to write to their parents about all of the fun things they do. It turns out that Josh didn’t send a letter, and the camp was withholding food from him until he did.
