This Is My Land

This is a bitter-sweet story. Losing your life partner is always heart breaking, and so this person wanted to do something special to commemorate his wife when she passed away. He owned a piece of land where the city has been planning on building new apartment complexes, but instead this person turned it into a graveyard.

He buried his wife on this land and by making it a graveyard, it meant the city could no longer touch it. It doesn’t make losing his wife any less painful, but at least he found a way to honor her memory the way she would’ve wanted.
