What’s the Moral of this Story?
This is a questionable story, but we’re not sure what’s more disturbing. The fact that people have no problem yelling at airport employees left and right, but find it hard to yell at disabled people or the fact that this person pretended to be disabled so that people would treat him nicer.
Working in any customer service job is a real challenge. Having to deal with rude, entitle, and impatient people all day, every day, can drive you to do some pretty questionable things. On some level, we can’t blame his person for pretending to be disabled. He just wanted to be treated with respect and not have people yell at him all day long.
