How to Avoid Breaking Rental Agreements
One of the longest feuds of all time is that between tenants and landlords. Before moving in, you have to sign a bunch of paperwork that states that you’ll leave the apartment in the same condition on your first day there. This usually means not fastening permanent fixtures onto the ceiling or painting the walls.
Well, this tenant wasn’t happy about starting at a blank, beige wall all day. But if they painted over the bland color, they’d lose their deposit and probably end up in court. Instead, this tenant hung up a collage of paint samples to add some liveliness to the atmosphere. Good thinking!
