That Good Enough For Ya, NYC Transit?
NYC Transit Authority created a bit of controversy a couple of years ago by mandating that all dogs must be in carriers or in bags while on public transport. We understand that this rule intends to stop dogs from leaving gross surprises for other passengers, but some dogs are too big for bags and are uncomfortable in portable kennels.
Not all dog owners have toy breeds, so to make his point, this passenger took his Husky along a subway ride while carrying it in a huge bag. It was a win-win for everyone. The dog wasn’t making a mess, and the guy got to take his dog on the subway.
