#34: A Contested Delivery
When I read these, I usually think that it’s fairly clear which side the majority of the blame falls on. In this case, though, I think that there’s a chance that neither side is to blame. Think about it: the owner is convinced that any deliveries would have left the building before 4:00 AM. The customer is convinced the food was not delivered until 6:00 AM and was in terrible shape.

What’s the obvious missing link here? It’s what the delivery guy did between leaving the building and delivering the food. It’s completely possible that the restaurant got the food done on time, and then the delivery driver went out partying with his friends and forgot that he had several pizzas in the back seat until much later.
