#22: Delivery Is Not for the Weak
I’ve had enough friends who’ve worked delivering food before to know that it can be pretty miserable. Sometimes you drive really far distances and don’t get a tip. Sometimes the people you deliver to are really rude. Or sometimes they just don’t answer their door, and you have no way to get in contact with them.

I’m glad that, in this case, the restaurant owner took the delivery driver’s side and called out this angry customer for not answering their door and for giving the wrong phone number. Insisting that “the customer is always right” might be a good way to try to keep customers happy, but it’s definitely not a good way to keep your staff happy.
