#18: The Sickest of Burns
Restaurants live and die by popularity, public perception, and customer reviews. So I bet it’s super irritating to have your reputation, which you have so carefully tried to cultivate, is wrecked by a customer who is mad because she didn’t bother properly reading what it was that she was ordering off your menu.

The owner of this restaurant had the perfect sassy comeback for this woman, first admonishing her to open her eyes and actually read, and then explaining that “mind reading the stupid” is not one of the skills they possess. This is definitely not the way to win that customer back, but it’s pretty danged hilarious for the rest of us.
