#7: Centripetal Force
Considering most of us look like wobbly giraffes when we step out on the ice, we can forgive a little scientific phenomenon. This 2014 Sochi Winter Games competitor is still on the scene and has been competing for nearly 30 years, after starting competitions at four years old!
Ryuichi Kihara teamed up with Takahashi to represent Japan, and their performance flopped, landing them at 19th in the team competition in 2014. However, Kihara recently won a Bronze World Team Trophy in 2021 in Osaka. He’s currently partnered with Raku Kihara, and we are excited to see if they’ll enter the 2022 Winter Games!
