#20: Twin Drop!
They aren’t really twins, but it was hard to tell when these two Italian beauties competed in the 2016 Rio de Janeiro synchronized diving competition. This specific sector of the sport has been popular since 2000 when it finally became an Olympic competition, but diving has been in the Summer Olympics since 1904. Many divers were originally gymnasts, as it takes the same athletic moves, like handstands, rotations, and flips.

Tania Cognatto has competed in five Olympic Games and won a silver and bronze in 2016. She’s also won twenty gold medals in the European Championships! Francesca Dallapé, her synchronized diving teammate, is close behind her with eight EC gold medals and two silver in the World Championships!
