#3: A Perfect 10.0!

Nadia Comāneci has taken home nine Gold Olympic medals, five of them in individual gymnastic events. She was the first-ever Olympic gymnast to score a perfect 10.0 in 1976 at the age of 14. She went on to score a perfect 10.0 eight more times during her career!

Since retiring in 1984, she’s worked as the President of the Romanian Gymnastics Federation and the Romanian Olympic Committee. She was honored as one of the top athletes in the 20th century and is still involved in gymnastics today, though she hasn’t competed in years.
