You know we’re all wondering how they keep their makeup so perfect when drenched in pool water. Tell us your secrets, Despoina Solomou! Aesthetics aside, this emotive synchronized swimmer has competed in two Olympics, the 2008 Beijing Games, and the 2012 London Games.

She hails from Greece and has been swimming since the age of six but was forced to retire in 2014 after lacking funds to continue competing. She now coaches in Switzerland at Lugano Nuoto. (Seriously, Despoina, your eyeshadow must be top of the line!)
