#35: LeBron James – Upper Deck 2004
“King James” makes a second appearance on our most valuable sports cards list. James began his career with the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2003 and now plays for the Los Angeles Lakers. He was the 2003 Rookie of the Year, MVP four times, 4-time Finals MVP, 2007 Scoring Champion, and has made 17 All-Star appearances, among other awards.

This Upper Deck LeBron James card set was limited to 23 autographed cards, one of which was (and is again) his jersey number. One of these cards sold for a mind-boggling $1.845 million at an auction in July 2020. Each card included a part of a game-worn jersey from James’ rookie season with the Cavilers.
