#17: Ty Cobb – 1909 T206 ‘Bat Off Shoulder’
The lefty from Narrows, GA (that’s why they called him “The Georgia Peach”) spent most of his career with the Detroit Tigers. He is one of the few players in MLB history to win the Triple Crown, which means to lead the league in batting average, home runs, and runs batted in. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1936.

Any of the T206 cards of the early 1900s are will be unbelievably valuable. This “Bat on the Shoulder” card of Cobb’s is sometimes forgotten about. Prices will vary based on condition, but if you find one of good quality, it will call for $100,000 or more.
