Yemenite bride
The traditional Yemenite wedding attire is perhaps the most extravagant we’ve seen on the list, and that says a lot. The tall headdress, decorated with flowers and jewelry (either gold or silver), is an important part of the wedding outfit. The bride must wear this elaborate headpiece throughout the wedding, as it is believed to ward off the evil eye.

Wedding celebrations can last from five days to a full week, and during the wedding preparation, the bride and groom are not to see each other. In some cases, the bride decorates her hands with Henna, like they do in Indian weddings. Either way, her body and dress are fully covered with jewelry and gold threads.
