A Literal Sponge Cake

Well, this guy’s girlfriend had been craving sponge cake for weeks when he decided he would surprise her with a literal sponge cake. After a long day at work, his girlfriend was happy and surprised to see his sweet gesture, a delicious cake lying on the counter. Until she realized that the cake wasn’t even edible.

This poor girl was excited to dig into some delicious, bouncy sponge cake, but all she got was a collection of sponges that she could later do the dishes with. What a disappointment. Perhaps her boyfriend had a real sponge cake hidden away that he then presented to his girlfriend to keep her from getting too upset with him.
