We’ve got to blame this one on the arrow–I mean, it was pointing upwards, so it’s only natural that this guy thought he was supposed to climb on top of the post to smoke. Really, the sign doesn’t make it very clear where the smoking area is. Okay, just kidding, he definitely knew he wasn’t supposed to do that, but it’s still a confusing sign.

At least the poorly designed sign gave this dude an opportunity for a funny photo to post online and receive temporary social media fame. There’s nothing cooler than smoking a cigarette while curled around a pole, just because you wanted to take a sign completely literally. Are we right or are we right?
