Hitching a Ride
If you don’t have a car, and don’t want to rely on pubic transportation, hitchhiking is a great way to get around. Despite the potential dangers included in taking a ride with strangers, hitchhiking has been around for decades, and it doesn’t seem like this mode of travel, that’s common all around the world, is going anywhere.

In the photo above, you can even see a sign encouraging individuals to hitchhike, demonstrating how to do so. Again with the unnecessary demonstrations. Hitchhiking is pretty intuitive – all you have to do is stand at the side of the road and wait maybe wave a hand. However, this woman has a sense of humor, and she decided to follow the sign’s instructions, by raising one hand and waving a flag. Where did she even get a flag?
