When you order a vegan burger, you expect that you’ll receive something that looks pretty similar to a regular burger, except that its contents are totally plant-based. Well, this restaurant took things a few steps farther. Instead of serving a vegan patty in a bun, they served this vegan customer a burger with a bun made completely from lettuce!

It’s actually a pretty clever idea, but since lettuce is mostly water, it’s not likely to be a very filling meal. Still, you’ve got to appreciate this restaurant’s creativity, and that lettuce does look nice and fresh. On second thought, maybe we’d all benefit from ditching the extra carbs in hamburger buns and replacing them with lettuce… They might be on to something here.
