I’m sure there are some people that have never heard of a slinky before, but to us, that is absolutely baffling. The Slinky has got to be one of the world’s most recognizable toys, seen and adored all around the world. Created in the 1940s, this scientifically unique toy blew kids’ and adults’ minds alike.

Originally created from steel, the majority of the Slinky’s these days are made of plastic. Being mesmerized by this wonderfully malleable toy as children was such a wonderful experience. Putting in on a step, to then watch it go down the whole staircase in such an elegant manner, boy do we miss those days.
