Nothing quite compares to an Easy Bake Oven, does it? It is such a household name that has been in our homes since 1963. It would be hard to say that this ‘toy’ hasn’t shaped an entire nation, because it most certainly has. But it also gave that same nation delicious little cakes baked by two light bulbs!

As mentioned earlier, all we wanted to do when we were younger was mimic our parents in their daily activities, and at the time of this making it to stores, baking was most certainly a very common thing all mothers did in every household. In an effort to be mini moms little girls were baking goods all around the country.
