If you are a girl and grew up in the 90s then you are bound to have a little internal freak out right now. It would be impossible to forget Sky Dancers. These dolls had a string attached to them that if you pulled, they would be expelled into the air and begin flying with their wings wide open.

The Sky Dancer dolls came in all different colors but would all do the same, memorable trick. By pulling the string to allow the Sky Dancers to fly, their beautiful wings would lift them up into the air. Due to this, the toys were recalled in 2000 due to many children claiming temporary blindness and lacerations on their faces. Looking back on it, they definitely weren’t the safest of toys…
