Don’t Stamp on My Parade
Everyone in the English-speaking world is familiar with the brand Crayola. Started by cousins, Harold Smith and Edward Binney in New York City in 1885, the business venture originally had nothing to do with crayons but rather creating colorants for industrial uses such as paint and color for tires. It wasn’t until the early 1900’s that the two cousins formed Crayola as a brand.
Not only are we all massive fans of their crayons, but the stamper markers were a real right of passage for a lot of kids. And when they brought out the smelly ones, oh my we hadn’t mentally prepared for that one. Sort of like your favorite pen, these stamper markers will always hold a special place in our hearts.
