#10: New York Jets

We’ve made it to the top ten (which I might mention is almost exclusively populated by NFL teams), and we’re starting with a team that played in my first-ever football game. So it should come as no surprise that I have a special connection to the New York Jets, but why do so many others?

The last few years haven’t seen them perform particularly well, so is it all just old-time nostalgia for everyone, the same as it is with me? I mean, I get that they won Super Bowl III and all that, but doesn’t a team also need to demonstrate aptitude in the present in order to warrant such high value?
