#12: Washington Commanders
This is a team who just can’t seem to get their name right. After they finally understood they couldn’t keep calling themselves Redskins, they temporarily chose the creative title ‘Football Team’ before eventually settling on Commanders. I mean, it’s certainly better than Redskins, and at least one step up from ‘Football Team.’
Controversial past notwithstanding, the Commanders have managed a pretty successful rebrand, and I would certainly feel more comfortable brandishing their paraphernalia these days. Now, all they need to do is some equally good work on their on-field performance, and then they can justify the $6 billion attributed to them.
