#49: San Francisco Giants

Sharing the last place, we’re moving into Baseball territory with the San Francisco Giants. Perhaps one of the most lovable teams in the MLB, I could see myself as a Giants fan, if only to brandish a giant Coca-Cola bottle or one day retrieve a ‘splash hit’ from McCovey Cove in my kayak.

However, as far as the team’s value goes, the news is slightly less promising, maybe because of the loss of longtime catcher Buster Posey, or maybe due to narrowly missing out on a playoff position in 2022. Coming in at $3.8 billion, the Giants went down seven spots from the previous year’s ranking.
