#13: It’s All Your Fault
These days, in the Western world, women are afforded much more leniency in the way that they live their lives. While it might seem like an obvious right to have today, such things weren’t always part of the deal. Sure, women still have to maintain good personal hygiene to have a social life, but this advertisement makes it seem like there was only one reason these women weren’t dating.
The fact that an advertisement like this was ever made and sent to print is wild. It blatantly states that these three attractive and educated women are all to blame for not having husbands because they don’t wear deodorant. Yes, you read that correctly… If an advertisement existed like this today, this company would go into forced administration within a week.
