Private Versus Public Schools

Public schools are the most popular which are government-funded but there are also many private schools that students attend. Parents have the option to choose which school to send their kids to, private schools require more out-of-pocket money for additional costs like uniforms, textbooks, and more, while public schools are mostly free.

We can see examples for both private and public schools in American movies. Judging by these movies, we’d say the only real difference is that private schools are more costly, and require the students to wear fancy uniforms. Did you go to a private or public school?
