Twenty Page Essay
Some schools in other countries require a word count for answering a question. However, in America, certain schools and teachers require a page count for assignments that can be rather extreme like a 20 or even 40-page essay, for example. We’re not sure what’s the logic behind this – are we writing a book or answering a question?
We do believe that having a word count is a good way to practice and answer questions, but there are some professors that go to the extreme and require lengthy projects to be submitted. Overall, this is not a surprise to many, as schools and universities all around the world follow similar practices.
