Rival Schools
This isn’t just something you see in American movies; every school district has another rival school close by, whether this is in sports, drama, or spelling. Competition certainly exists in America, and don’t forget to wear your school’s apparel to the rival school to really stand out.
The rivalry you see between schools in America is not so dramatic as it is seen in Hollywood movies, but it is especially prevalent in sports. A healthy rivalry between schools can certainly keep things interesting. Some students and parents might take it too far though. There are also regional and national championships where schools from the surrounding area get to compete against each other.
