Water Bottles Get the Job Done
We’ve seen soda cans, milk jugs, soda bottles, and now- water bottles enter the list. Through using a water bottle, you can give your plants plenty of water without spending money on a complicated or fancy irrigation system.

Poke holes in the water bottle and plant it alongside the plant- deep enough so that it will be on the same level as the plant’s roots. Leave the top of the water bottle poking out of the earth so that you can access it easily. When you pour water into the bottle, it will be able to reach even the lowest roots, ensuring proper hydration of the plant.
